I PROMOTE-IL, the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH), the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), and the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) hired an external marketing firm to launch a significant marketing campaign focusing on all the ways Illinois Medicaid is providing support for pregnant and postpartum persons and women of reproductive age, with a focus on the Postpartum Medicaid Extension (PME). The campaign was developed with input from the Medicaid Enrollment and Coverage Campaign Advisory Committee, which consisted of stakeholders from across the state of Illinois.
The linked social media campain includes links for Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and Tik-Tok, links to videos, and links to downloadable posters for clinical and community settings that can be used to get the word out to providers, birthing persons, and communities. Note that there are separate links to Chicago versus statewide distribtion and there are English and Spanish versions of all links.
